Under an unyielding tight deadline - need to hang an installation of my cutout pastel/canvas drawings (19 large images) - for the GATEWAY PROJECTs OPEN DOORS October 9th opening at Newark Penn Stations Gateway II area. It is easy to get to - take PATH or NJ Transit to Newark and just take the escalator upstairs to Gateway II. Thank you curators Rebecca Jampol and Jasmine Wahl for the opportunity to bring these works back to life and view after being at rest in storage - popping up for air occasionally, but now allowed to breathe for a good 6 weeks. Will post images but meanwhile lots of work ahead of me to get ready for the exhibition which will include images of some Newark folk - past and present - ie: Roy Crosse, Carl Hazlewood, Toni Thomas and Manuel Acevedo among many others from NYC and NJ.
