Under the BDP led government: Botswana’s relative economic success provide lessons for other countries to follow. The anatomy of Botswana’s development success can be analysed in five interrelated factors which can be replicated in similar economic settings: (1) adherence to democracy and good governance (2) disciplined and prudent macro- economic management (3) commitment to achieving priority development goals (4) discovery and exploitation of mineral wealth; and (5) international goodwill As a result of the favourable progress realized in all the five areas, Botswana has achieved rapid economic development and widespread gains in human welfare. These five development factors relate to the key economic policies Botswana adopted and the institutions she established to implement those policies. The adoption of such sound pro-development policies was the result of Botswana’s democratic system, which is tempered by tradition, institutions, BDP leadership and a modicum of fiscal discipline. This of cause happens under the BDP led government. #VOTE WISELY, VOTE BDP #VOTEHONESTBUTIBILLY FRANCISTOWN EAST PARLIMENTARY CANDIDATE.
