Under the heading There are some good guys left: A customer called me this afternoon about 3:20. He had been in our store about 40 minutes earlier. After leaving our store, he made 2 subsequent stops. At this point he discovered he had lost a hundred dollar bill somewhere along the way. I looked in the aisle he had been in and in the parking lot, no bill to be seen. Not really surprised considering nearly 45 minutes had passed by this time. It was now 3:25 and all I could do was shake my head. Another 35 minutes passed when one of my fellow workers punched out to go home for the day. He soon returned with a one hundred dollar bill in his hand, saying he found it in front of his van. He didnt know a customer had called about losing the money. The bill had blown from in front of the building, around the corner and down the wall. Probably 150 feet. Gary got a huge boost in respect from all in the store, the customer got his money back and I take great pride in sharing this story.
