Under the heading of Its always something, put this tale of woe. Our wood burner that heats the house in the winter has been out of operation for over a week. Not great customer service from the dealer. This morning we discovered water oozing up from our downstairs floor. We have a two story house and the bottom is a walkout on a concrete slab with a built in radiant heat. Either we are sitting on top of an artesian well or one of the radiant heat lines (which are under concrete) is busted and leaking. Black Friday now has a whole other meaning for us. The wood floor will have to be replaced for starters. I leave for a conference on Sunday which means Sandy is on her own to get the right contractor in here to fix it. Pray for both of us please. Its always something.
