Understand this, then, and take heart from it. If you have actually drawn circle, or created sigils, or truly conversed with spirits, then regardless of how young or old you may be, you are already ahead of the curve. The attitude of some here will be more towards book learning, and it is likely true that I have not had enough of that as well; but at the same time, regardless of how much you read, there comes a time when you must put the book down, and pick the proverbial wand up. Magick is dangerous. To leap into the proverbial maelstrom, to risk loss of sanity, to even contemplate defying determinism, Newtonian physics, or common sense; these are all what the art entails. But to enter that fog of chaos where explanation ceases, to actually see the lines of force as you draw them, to feel that fire in your veins! Then, then you know you are truly alive! I reallllyyyy love some of my friends. :) It is people like this, people that REALLY understand me, that make my work/job/life the magical bought of glitter and unicorns that it is. ♥
