November 13, 2014 Jane Robbins is an attorney and a senior fellow with the American Principles Project in Washington, D.C. In that position, she has crafted federal and state legislation designed to restore the constitutional autonomy of states and parents in education policy, and to protect the rights of religious freedom and conscience. She has published numerous articles about the problems with Common Core, including those of instrusive data-collection and threats to student privacy, and has testified about these issues before the legislatures of nine states. She is a graduate of Clemson University and the Harvard Law School. Toni Boucher was elected to represent the 26th Senatorial District in 2008, after having served as the State Representative from the 143rd Assembly District for 12 years. In the State Senate, Senator Boucher serves as a Deputy Minority Leader. Senator Boucher is the Senate Ranking Member of the General Assemblys Transportation Committee, Education Committee and of its Higher Education Committee. She also serves as a member of the General Assemblys Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee. Maria Naughton has spent the last 18 years in education as a teacher, and Educational Consultant. She is a local realtor with Barbara Clearys Realty Guild, and writes the Education Matters column for the New Canaan Advertiser. Ms. Naughton is also a member of the New Canaan Republican Town Committee, and lives in New Canaan with her husband Bob and their four children.
