Understanding Depression – A Short Video From ASAP Science Since the tragic suicide of loved and revered actor Robin Williams a few weeks ago, many of us who would not have necessarily thought about depression have been exposed to a lot of material about it in the mainstream press and social media. For those who have not had first-hand experience of it, either having suffered it themselves or seen a loved one affected by it, it can be a strange and unusual disease. This short video from the team at ASAP Science crams a great deal of useful information about Depression into a couple of condensed minutes. Obviously there is a lot that it cannot cover, as there is still much that even the most knowledgeable scientists and researchers do not know, but it is a very good starting point.
