Understanding Prophetic Warfare Operations (From The Book PROPHETIC GUERRILLA WARFARE SERIES VOLUME 1) “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 The above have been read for ages and only few bother to find out the amazing mystery surrounding the creation of man. God was the first Person to engage in the PROPHETIC ACTS in the Bible. The prophetic is such a mysterious way of doing things that many are scared of it and therefore condemn what they don’t understand. You need to understand what Prophetic Operation is before you can understand what Prophetic Warfare Operation is. What is Prophetic Operation? This is acting out the supernatural with the aid of physical object under divine and specific instruction. From the way man was made, the definition is very clear. God molded man from the dust of the earth- PHYSICAL OBJECT He breathed into man and man became a living soul- SUPERNATURAL He didn’t make man from leaves or animals. Neither did He speak man into existence. He molded man from the dust of the earth - DIVINE AND SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION. The prophetic operation is also a means to cause great revolution in the spirit realm in order to gain great victory over the enemies. “Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrowI will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hurwent up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.” Exodus 17:8-13 This is just too awesome. What is the correlation between Moses lifting his rod and Joshua defeating the enemies on the battle ground? Isn’t that a big mystery? That is what the prophetic operation is all about. The moment he let down his hands, Joshua started losing the battle but when he lifted his hand up, he started to win the battle. The rod in his hand was the symbol of power and authority. “And Joash slept with his fathers; and Jeroboam sat upon his throne: and Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel. Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows. And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the kings hands. And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORDS deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them. And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.” 2 Kings 13:13-19 This story is filled with mysteries. What has shooting arrows and smiting the ground with the arrow got to do with defeating the enemies in real life battle? This is a puzzle you need to solve. When you are able you will understand the dynamics of the prophetic operation. God was the first Person to introduce the prophetic operation in the way He made Adam and later Eve. “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.” Genesis 2:21-22 What can be more strange and awkward than making a human being from the bone of another person? Is that not magic or satanic as some would claim today? That is one beautiful thing about God. He does what pleases Him and anyhow He desires to and no one can challenge and question His authority. Can you? The prophetic operation can be so strange because it defiles all logical reasoning. It’s beyond the five senses of the human personality. The things of the spirit can only be understood by the spiritually discerning. Take the issue of the person I told to take a handful of salt, read Psalm 35 into it and pour it at the back of her window where the witchcraft birds gather to disturb her peace by their cries at night. She did it and that was the end of their meeting there. That is the prophetic for you. “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which mans wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” 1 Corinthians 2:12-15 The Bible is filled with many strange operations that are just so fascinating to the human senses. The problem many have with these operations today is their naïve understanding of who God really is. Another problem is the way people were brought up in their denominations. Many Christians limit themselves to what their leaders taught them. They don’t crave zealously to encounter God on a personal level. Even when some do they still streamline it to their personal beliefs or their leaders’ beliefs and understanding. A rich woman who was barren came to meet a prophet for help. She was told to come and start sweeping the church auditorium for the next three months. The man didn’t pray for her. Thank God she humbled herself and did it. In the third month, she got pregnant. Amazing! Isn’t it? What has sweeping got to do with pregnancy?
