Undoubtedly, many of you are Star Wars fans, newly agitated/excited from last Fridays release of the teaser for The Force Awakens. Jesus, James...I have to wait an ENTIRE YEAR for this new SW joint! Well friends, you could do MUCH worse than to stave off said anticipation by watching the sleeper sci-fi joint that introduced the terrific John Boyega to many of us, Attack the Block. Its a wicked little alien thriller with an unexpected socially-relevant hook. Its fast, scary, funny, and has that same awesome visual sensibility as Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim VS. the World. Should be cheap on BD now. GO!
