Unemployed & Angry Graduate Applicant Sues University For Not Employing Him Kukogho Iruesiri Samson | 18:18 | 22.09.2014 FUPRE has been dragged to court by a graduate applicant who applied for one of the vacant positions it conducted a written test for. An unemployed graduate, Mr. Omoyibo Emmanuel, has gone to a Federal High court to seek justice after the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) failed to employ him. Emmanuel was one of the applicants who participated in the written examinations into various vacant positions organised by FUPRE. Seeking the reliefs under the Freedom of Information Act, 2011 and the Federal Character Act, he now wants the court to compel the institution to publish the result, Vanguard » reports. In his suit, No: FHC/WR/CS/5/14 , Emmanuel said the institution has refused to release the examination results despite repeated demands. The applicant wants the examination results published in some national dailies, just as the vacant positions were initially published. He also demanded that the criteria for employment in the university and the comprehensive list/interview panel records of current staff (including indigenous staff of Delta State) of the university between January 1, 2014 to date be produced within seven days.
