Unfair Trade Practices practiced by Comcast - We have comcast services at our business location in Galveston. We are not very happy about the service since their so called high speed internet is slower than slow. But since we are under a 2 year contract we couldnt do much about it. Now, we are shifting to a new location. We have year left on a contract. We are told that they will not shift the existing contract to a new location. We will have to sign a new two year contract. Or if we dont sign a new two year contract and decide to go with a different service provider, we will have to pay them 75% of the value of the remaining time on the contract!!!! Is this unfair trade practices or what? Why can they not shift the existing contract to a new location in the same zip code! This is basically holding the customer hostage, so that they are forced to stay with comcast whether they want to or not! Has anyone else had a similar experience? What recourse do we have as a customer?
