Unfortunately, Beccy Broughton and Viniculture have failed to qualify over the WEG Test Event due to being under the minimum average speed of 14 kph. The last loop seemed to take its toll, with many experienced riders doing much slower speeds than for the rest of the course. It appears also that some were not allowed to start the last loop due to falling below the minimum speed. We all feel sad for Beccy and Tricia but the experience and information that they both will have obtained at the event will be of great value to the British Team for next year’s World Equestrian Games.
