Unfortunately, I am compelled to put this notion out in the public forum...and ask that your best vibes are sent to our dear friend and colleague, Pat Savage. So many of you bay area musicians stepped up when we staged his benefit back in September, and I am proud to count you among my friends. He is currently at the Bayonet Point Medical Center in Pasco, and plans to depart from there back to Michigan so he can be with his family as soon as his next round of treatments are concluded. Ive performed with Pat since 1998 in Michigan, and a sweeter, gentler soul--as well as an awesome percussionist--has never walked the earth. Please keep him in your thoughts.
