Unfortunately Ive recently experienced a couple of occasions where customers have not paid me, have cancelled their appointment late, or simply not been in for their allocated appointment Im a small business, with just me doing everything. Grooming a limited amount of dogs per day (in order to give them the best care & attention I can - which is why many of you choose Pooches!). If I have a late cancelation, or someone that doesnt pay, I loose a third of my earnings in one hit. I cant imagine any of you would like to loose 33% of a days income a) without notice, b) needlessly (as I am currently turning bookings away). Its causing me to consider either requiring up front payment for bookings, or ceasing the My business and returning to my previous career (which I dont want to do as I love my job). Please respect me and the service I offer. Of course, there are always exceptions but I think Im reasonable in my expectations... If I beautify your dog, I would like to receive payment. If you cancel your appointment without 48 hours notice as you agreed to that are set out in my terms & conditions, I would like to receive the appropriate payment. I appreciate December is difficult for everyone financially, but this applies to me too. Ps - this only applies to about 3% of my clients, the rest of you are amazeballs and are hugely appreciated
