Unfortunately Robin Williams death is not shocking to me. Its horrific, but not shocking. He was an addict with demons, he was horribly depressed, he was complex, brilliant, in the public eye, an artist, so many things. So many challenges. A lot of people have been trashing him, saying he was selfish, he had children. I have to have tolerance for these people. Most people dont truly understand addiction and depression. Its real and its powerful. It can take you to a dreadful place. I understand it can be hard to relate, but this man was not selfish. In his heart and soul, he was a giver. He was a healer. He was tortured.
