Unfortunately at this time, we are completely full and closed for intake only to emergencies. We are NOT taking in owner surrenders. This week we are taking in two rabbits and a group of rats from an overloaded shelter, but that is all for the rest of the year. There are so, so many rabbits in need right now and the posts I have been seeing and the emails Ive been getting are killing me. Unfortunately, at this point, to save my own sanity and to provide the best care for the ones we have, I have to choose who is most urgent. This is why I am constantly talking about spay/neuter. If people would just spay and neuter their bunnies, we wouldnt have this problem. This time of the year, in the spirit of the holidays, we could really use paypal donations, food donations (right now we really need Oxbow young rabbit food), toys, fosters, and volunteers. Please consider helping us out! And if we are not local to you, help out your local rabbit rescue! We all are overloaded and stressed and could use anything you can contribute.
