Unfortunately, due to a series of failures within the home fleet of diesels and the timescale for repairs and restoration work, we are in the unfortunate position of having to announce that the GCRN 2014 Diesel Gala planned for the 12/13th of July is cancelled. We are still hoping to be able to provide 2 days of T&T Diesel Running on a 4 train timetable in place of the gala (pending loco availability and confirmation) and hope to be able to run with the Sulzer Running Day planned for later in the year. Following this disappointment, all involved are committed to running a gala in 2015.
