Unfortunately this is not some sort of a sick April Fools Day prank. I wish it was. There is real cause for concern of the safety of the students currently occupying the Legislative Yuan in Taipei, Taiwan. Gangster Chang An-le the leader of the Unification Party and ex-Bamboo Union leader has said that he will call on 2000 of his friends to take back the student-occupied Legislative Yuan tomorrow (April 1). Chang and others have shown up at the Legislative Yuan area trying to pick fights with the students and protesters using knives, firecrackers, and homemade bombs.
