Unfortunately, this is the only way I can reach all of you in a timely manner. My heart is hurting today. After 3 1/2 years at Union Printers Home, my Mom passed away this morning. She lived a good life and made it to 80 years old. We were with her at the end of her life holding her hand and letting her know that it was ok for her to go. This last month has been really hard because the nursing home was on quarantine and then we got sick at Christmas with all this flu stuff. Finally, on Monday we were allowed to come and be with her. I believe that she waited for us - so we could say goodbye. I am relieved that that her body is no longer broken but I have lost my Mom and that is very hard to say. I miss my Mom... We will have a Celebration of her Life on Sunday 1/18/15 at Union Printers Home -101 South Union Blvd., in the Library at 1:00. We hope that you could be there with us if possible.
