Unfortunately we wont be going home today. Lucy keeps spiking a temperature and is losing a lot of blood in her urine so they want to monitor her bloods for signs of infection and keep an eye on her haemoglobin to make sure it doesnt get any lower. If it does she could need a transfusion. Her heart rate is also high (higher than normal) and they just want to ensure it doesnt get any higher. Theyre getting things ready for discharge tomorrow should Lucy be well enough (which we hope she will, Lucy just wants to get home to be with Molly and to be in her own bed and I would like us all to be home together again).
