Unfortunately, you will not be seeing anymore updates on Lucy and our Buddy the Dog. Lucy ended up with Parvo within the first week after we brought her home. We made the decision to return her to KT Labradors. Trixie was more than willing to comply with our wishes, but I wanted people to be aware that unfortunately, our Lucy was not the only Parvo case at KT Labradors. I feel that potential and new owners alike deserve to know what is going on. Parvo is highly resistant in the environment – it persists for up to a year. Do some reseach on this highly contagious virus. Educate yourself, I wish we had...because now its in our home, (which has put off our hopes of becoming breeders for yet another year to make sure the virus has fully been irradicated).
