Unfortunatly, i made this discovery to late in my mothers battle with alzheimers. When I began staying with my parents, to care for my father in his final months of cancer, i noticed mom didnt drink any fluids except at lunch time. If i tried to get her to drink water, she flat refused. All she wanted was soda, and my father stopped buying it because caffine adgitated her. I started buying caffine free soda and noticed she looked and felt better, but she still is was not drinking water. She is now so advanced it will not help. She was always a soda drinker. Never drank water, and smoked. I am very convinced this is what caused her to get alzheimers. So drink yout water. Dr Batman states: ‘The primary cause of Alzheimer’s is chronic dehydration of the body. In my opinion, brain cell dehydration is the primary cause of Alzheimer’s disease. Aluminium toxicity is a secondary complication of dehydration in areas of the world with comparatively aluminium -free water (although in the technically advanced Western societies, aluminium sulphate is used in the process of water purification for delivery into the city water supplies!). One of my medical friends took this information to heart and started treating his brother who has Alzheimer’s disease by forcing him to take more water every day. His brother has begun to recover his memory, so much so that he can now follow conversation and not frequently repeat himself.
