Uni drop off report: Just got back left Eli outside his new home at 3 and drove back. We were both sort of stunned. (like a dream). We had loads of fun driving up then just before we hit Liverpool we both slipped into a shock of the reality of it. The excitement of the new place then gripped us for a while then I left him for the evening which again felt weird for us both but I slept well ( in a nice hotel in the waterfront) knowing I was nearby if he needed anything. We had a typically lovely day today lots of laughter lots of kindness but our late lunch was again another funny moment as we realised I would soon have to go. I really love that guy he is going to have a forfillung time for sure and Liverpool is a fabulous city with beautiful people ( I twice got presumed I was his buddy and we where both starting Uni - god I love that town!!). I am here if he ever needs anything ( I can be there for late lunch any day son just call me - cue Carol King and James Taylor )
