Uniformed volunteer teacher! ME2 Jeevaratham S/O Subramaniam is a course commander at SAF Military Intelligence Institute (SMI-I). In addition to his military services, where he received the Foreign Medal, NATO (ISAF) and the SAF Overseas Medal for his overseas attachments in peace support operations in Afghanistan in 2011, he is also a volunteer teacher at a local temple. In 2009, he was able to see the fruits of his labour when one of his students managed to achieve top results in the Primary School Leaving Exam (PSLE). The Singapore Army thanks ME 2 Jeevaratham for volunteering to help groom our future leaders and wishes him a Happy Teachers Day!
