Union Bank Customers, Union Bank conducted a full investigation into the Heartbleed bug and potential impact to our customers. We can report that none of our customer-facing services have been identified as vulnerable. While no action is required for your Union Bank account as a result of Heartbleed, bugs like these remind us how critical it is that we all proactively work to strengthen our online security. Below are tips to help keep you and your family safe online: 1. Create unique passwords for different online accounts 2. Change your passwords often 3. Following a highly publicized event such as this, you may receive e-mails instructing you to change your online passwords. If you receive such a notification be sure to type the address of the website into your browser instead of clicking on a link in an e-mail to ensure you are going to a legitimate site, and not a fraudulent site. Union Bank continues to invest in security and takes its responsibility very seriously. If you have any questions about the security of your account, please call (714) 985-2098 and we are happy to assist you. Thanks, Union Bank Customer Advocate Team
