Unit Manager Neurovascular - Pretoria Our client is seeking a Qualified Unit Manager for their Neuro Vascular unit in Pretoria unit. Preferably ACI candidate; must have management experience, if possible disabled candidates with relevant nursing qualifications. Key Areas: Management and supervision of staff. Management of patient care. Cost Centre Management which includes control of equipment and stock. Performing weekend and on call duties. Management of aspects pertaining student accompaniment and in- service training. Maintaining of high Nursing Standards. Flexibility in terms of working hours. Leadership and Strategic management skills. Excellent planning, communications, organizing and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of budgetary processes. Qualification and Experience: Qualifications and years of experience in Neuro Qualification as a Registered Nurse. Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). Degree or Diploma in Critical Care. At least 5 years post-qualification experience. A diploma in Management would be an advantage but managerial experience is essential. Computer literacy is essential. Previous experience in a Private Hospital environment would be advantageous.
