Unite Here, a union with nearly 300,000 members, recently released a report, “The Irony Of Obamacare: Making Inequality Worse,” detailing the negative impact of the president’s healthcare law. The report says Obamacare “threatens the middle class with higher premiums, loss of hours, and a shift to part-time work and less comprehensive coverage.” Last week 10,000 members of this same union in Las Vegas threatened to go on strike over Obamacare, which members say is jeopardizing their healthcare benefits. So will Obamacare supporters continue to stand with Harry Reid, who says that all the horror stories are “untrue,” or will they listen to Unite Here, who says it will make things worse?
