United Airlines adjust some Pacific and Latin America - TopicsExpress

United Airlines adjust some Pacific and Latin America routes: As we begin to diversify our GUM network by offering new service to PVG (Shanghai) and ICN (Seoul, South Korea), we are also reducing our flights from GUM to Japan. We will cancel service from GUM to three Japanese regional markets, each of which we serve twice per week: GUM-KIJ (Niigata) service after Dec. 13, GUM-HIJ (Hiroshima) after Dec. 18 and GUM-OKJ (Okayama) after Feb. 20. We will also reduce GUM-CTS (Sapporo) frequency between January and March from four times a week to twice a week as of Jan. 17 and reduce seasonal GUM-NRT from four- to three-times a week during February and March. We will continue to operate three times weekly GUM-NRT year-round. In addition to the Japan reductions, we’re adjusting two Latin American routes. We will cancel our SFO-GDL (Guadalajara, Mexico) service effective Sept. 21. We will continue to serve GDL from IAH. We are also adding three-times-a-week IAH-NAS (Nassau, Bahamas) service between Dec. 3 and March 4 and May 6 and June 3 to complement our existing peak season service to the area. All of these changes will load on July 26, 2014.
