United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Mrs. Ban were in Indonesia this week to take part in activities for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Global Forum in Bali and to meet with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. While there, they also visited Green School Bali - known as one of the greenest schools on the planet - to meet with students and find out about work to foster knowledge exchange and share lessons learnt and best practices to promote green education across Indonesia. A new initiative from the government, UNORCID-Indonesia and partners was launched which aims to enlist 1 million green youth ambassadors in schools there by 2017.
