United Way of South Mississippi is always helping local agencies find amazing volunteers. Are you looking to make a difference in our community?! Office Help CLIMB CDC is looking for volunteers to assist with intake and completion of paperwork for clients needing housing assistance. Basic skills needed are the ability to work with a diverse group of people including the homeless, filling out forms, reading, writing, and some computer work. Registered Nurses Manna Ministries operates a free primary care medical clinic at two locations in Picayune and Poplarville, and they are in need of volunteer registered nurses to serve in their clinics. Availability is Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m, Angel Tree Registration! The Salvation Armys Angel Tree Program is designed to assist families who can not afford to provide their children with Christmas gifts. This program begins with registering our clients into our database that will require information on themselves, their children and their financial situation. Volunteers will be needed to help register clients into our database using laptops provided for by The Salvation Army.
