United in Love This article is written expressly in response to a thought someone shared with one last evening. While visiting them once again the topic swirled over to Sparkle and her allergies. One simply said, “You know Miss Sparkle and her allergies sound like a broken record. It seems every time someone asks how things are going it’s always the same. “ One was surprised to hear the reply that went something like this, “well, you sure have a lot of patience. I don’t think too many people would have lasted that long with all the health issues your little dog has.” Now don’t get me wrong this woman clearly loves the dog and feels bad for it suffering so. One replied, ‘well I don’t know about patience as one gets frustrated for the little dog, it’s more like one is determined to see the dog live outside her bubble world.” We prattled on for a bit then one hurriedly scooted down the hallway. It was always a “what if” when coming home. The dog was sleeping in her little night crate, curled up like a kitten. So you may ask what does this have to do with the group. Well, when one thought more about the conversation one was struck by the keen observation others had on puggle owners and to what extent they will go for their dogs. There have been other groups that one has belonged to over the years however Puggle Mania shows true devotion to their beloved family members. Many have more than one or two, three and even four puggle dogs. Others will travel a great distance to save a puggle and then there are those that will help in any way they can to show puggle support. One has gotten the feeling that some owners would go so far as to put their puggle dog’s health ahead of their own as they cannot stand to see the sad look on the dog’s face, nor the suffering the dog is going through. It is through such a group that one has learned so much when dealing with a sick puggle. There have been many questions answered, sites suggested and items one may want to purchase in helping to give more comfort to one’s sweet little dog. The laughter, tears, anxieties, anger, passion and devotion cannot be measured by any man’s standard. This group has a tendency to look out for one another in ways as one has not seen in other groups from the past. The maintenance and daily upkeep on their lovable family furry friend/s goes beyond the norm. However it becomes a natural part of their lives. One must not forget the expense a puggle owner will shell out over the years. It becomes nothing when they look into the sad canine eyes or the excitable dog eager for his/her new treat. It is one’s conclusion that a puggle owner is of a unique kind. The hair loss is part and parcel of what the dog gives; the sharing of one’s bed, furniture, and other household items is tolerated in a way that can only be described in two words…Puggle lover. For all the new members enjoy the many ups and sometimes downs of a group that certainly loves their puggle. Sincerely, a Puggle Owner
