Unity government! Najib flew in to Jakarta on Friday on a private visit.His main purpose of his visit was to meet up with his Mentor and family friend,Jusuf Kalla.He had three meetings with Jusuf Kalla plus a game of golf on Saturday. He and Jusuf were discussing the concept of unity government and how to convince Anwar to accept it. Anwar flew in from Bali to Jakarta after meeting SBY.He met Jusuf Kallah on Saturdey night and Jusoff told him what was with Najib. As usual Anwar ,in jest,ask Pak Jusuff Kalla why Najib only want to deal with him on the unity government? Pak Jusuff reply was very simple and precise and this shocked Anwar. He said Najib cannot take any more the bullying by Tun on him and he can’t function as an effective PM.Jusuff said to Anwar only you can handle Tun. Pak Jusuff also told Anwar, Najib already lost hope that MCA and Gerakan can bring back Chinese support to his government. Anwar asked what was the offer on the table for PKR. Pak Jusuff reply,you will become the second DPM and PKR will be given four cabinet posts. Pak Jusuff want a reply before 24 june Parliament sitting.Anwar said he need to consult DAP and PAS and the reply will depend on what happens to the gathering on 22 June at Padang Merbok.
