Universal Orlando® Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights® This - TopicsExpress

Universal Orlando® Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights® This is a hard ticket event that runs from 6:30 pm to midnight, 1 am, or 2 am depending on the date you choose from September 19 - Nov 1, 2014. Monday and Tuesday dates are not available. Save by ordering your ticket online and by being a Florida resident. There is a discount for certain Coke products but I did not see the details. Guests receive one VIP entry to each house, reserved seating for Bill & Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure, Express Access to attractions after the tour, RIP Lounge, and two attractions on the RIP tour for $109. For $1299 guests and their party can go with a tour guide on their own private tour. Unmasking the Horror does not have full details out but they say guests will see three houses in the lights on and learn about the making of the houses. Add-on tickets allow admission to the event on top of the current ticket that start at $41.99 online. A single night admission is $95.99 which does not make sense because guests can get every night but Saturday for $102.99 and 10 nights for $75.99. The best part for the event is the Express Pass that lets a guest bypass lines for attractions and haunted houses, starts at $49.99. Remember that no masks or costumes are allowed. There are random cast members who will sneak up on guests and scare them. This event is intended for 13 and up so do not expect the little ones to get much out of this event other than shows and street performance as there is a warning on their website. Last year I could not take my scooter into any of the haunted houses so be warned. They forbid food, drinks, pen lights, flashlights, and lasers in the haunted mansions so be prepared for a trip and fall. As for wheelchairs, good luck making it though any of the houses. I got my admission through my annual pass or I would not go this year, nothing to do and I love WDW Halloween as it is not gory scary but the happy fun that we had when we were kids. Check out their website at halloweenhorrornights/orlando/ for more details.
