University of Auckland, New Zealand is offering master’s scholarships for teachers from Auckland and Northland schools to undertake a one year research master’s degree involving training at the Woolf Fisher Research Center. Scholarship Provider: Woolf Fisher Trust Scholarship can be taken at: New Zealand Eligibility: -To take up the Scholarship the recipient must have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrollment in a one year research thesis for a MEd, MEd Leadership or MA. -The Scholarships are tenable by teachers currently teaching in Auckland and Northland schools. Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of New Zealand (currently teaching in Auckland and Northland schools) can apply for these scholarships. Scholarship Description: The Scholarships were established in 2010 and are funded by the Woolf Fisher Trust. The purpose of the Scholarships is to enable outstanding teachers from Auckland and Northland schools to be released from school duties to undertake a one year research masters degree involving training at the Woolf Fisher Research Centre in school-based research and development methods. Up to four Scholarships will be awarded annually, each for a period of one year, and each will be of the value of up to $70,000. The Scholarships will be paid directly to schools to release teachers from school duties for one year. Payments will be made in two installments: one in the first and one in the second semester.
