University of Copenhagen offers a PhD fellowship in the field of neuroinflammation in Issazadeh-Navikas Group at BRIC. The appointment as PhD fellow is for 3 years. Scholarship Description: Our research team is working on different aspects of tissue specific inflammatory diseases with emphasis on neuroinflammation and Neuro-oncology. The project is a part of our ongoing effort to understand molecular mechanisms by which central nervous system (CNS) and the immune system communicate to control CNS inflammation, and neurodegeneration. A PhD Fellowship in the in the field of neuroinflammation is available in Issazadeh-Navikas Group at BRIC, University of Copenhagen. Number of award (s): Not Known Duration of award (s): The appointment as PhD fellow is for 3 years. What does it cover? -The appointment as PhD fellow is for 3 years. It is conditioned upon the candidates´ success­ful enrollment in a PhD programme. This requires submission and acceptance of an application for the specific project formulated by the candidate during an initial short-term employment as a research assistant. -The PhD study must be completed in accordance with the ministerial orders from the Ministry of Education for the PhD degree and the University´s rules on achieving the degree. -Salary, pension and terms of employment are in accordance with the agree­ment between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
