Unknown People Threaten Life of TIZ Boss for PVT Tabulations By Emmanuel Mwamba It’s another day that the Lord has made. For he has meant good and not wrath for you 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10. And let us forgive one another for the ugly words, the plots and schemes that could have raptured our invaluable relationships and could have breached the chords of our cherished unity in diversity. Issues of concern 1. Some thugs have threatened the life of TIZ Executive Director Goodwell Lungu and threatened to burn MIKA Hotel, the premises his team was working from to compile a Parallel Voter Tabulation (PVT). These thugs need to be warned that this country will not accept lawlessness and thuggery. A good man doing a diligent and commendable work like Goodwell Lungu, for the country should never be threatened, intimidated or harmed in this manner and innocent businessman like owner of Mika Hotels should never have their premises threatened with acts of arson or their lives. 2. As we come to the end of this electoral process, let us remember that there is no winner or lose. Zambia has once again triumphed. Zambia has once again won. Zambia is bigger than all of us. And its interest is paramount and all should work to preserve it as our primary responsibility. We should also take time to thank the Patriotic Front and the United Party for National Development and others that participatef in this election, for their shared commitment to the goal to make Zambia a better place for us and our children. We should also salute Hon. Edgar Lungu and Hon. Hakainde Hichilema and others for their dedication to their causes and their commitment to enhance this country 3. Let us also remember the life of that Patriach, that gallant leader and a nationalist of enormous standing, Zambia’s Fifth President of the Republic of Zambia and Zambia’s Fifth Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata. Let us forever remember him and his valuable contribution to the development of this country. Let us also take time to recognise the contributions of our founder President, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, democracy torch bearer, Dr. Frederick Chiluba, Dr. Levy Patrick Mwanawasa and President Rupiah Banda for the immense contribution to the development of this country. Above all let us thank ourselves as Zambians for loving one another and for keeping the peace of this country.
