Unlawful wounding, Mackay Police are investigating after a wounding incident in West Mackay early this morning. Around 1am, a man presented to Mackay Hospital with a wound to his chest. He has been airlifted to Townsville Hospital for further treatment and is in a critical condition. A crime scene has since been established at a Nebo Road caravan park. A 24-year-old woman is assisting police with their enquiries. There is no further information available at this time.
