Unless Russia guarantees Freedom of expression for athletes and visitors nobody should go there. I do not have a proposal of an alternate location where the games should held but suspect former olympic locations may be bset suted for that - maybe splitting the games even to make the load lighter on the locals. ( with totays mass media that should be doable ) If Russia does not recant AND the games proceed we will know for CERTAIN that the organizers are irretrievably corrupt. In that case we should sell the remains to McD , Adidas, Puma, and the assorted sponsors ( maybe include the Pharma companies openly ) and find something new. Something alive with the olympic SPIRIT.
