Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain-John 12:24. Yesterday, I asked you: How are you going to spend your life since we all have one life to live, and I dont know your answer to that question. But whatever it is, I want to yet again ask you another all important life question this morning too. Let me ask you; If there is only one thing you are to accomplish,what would it be? Your answer to these two all important life questions is what is going to determine how you live your life and the kind of impact youre going to make. According to todays scripture, for every grain of wheat(seed) to produce, it has to be planted and die first. Thus, productivity comes through investment. Now, every seed has in itself the potential to reproduce, and you are that seed. Youre a seed that has been planted with a potential to reproduce and multiply. Every seed dies to self and produces to the benefit of others. So if you are a seed with potential to reproduce, the question is; how is your production going to benefit others. Thats why I asked you earlier; if there is only one thing youre to accomplish in this life, what is it going to be? There are so many of you out there that if I should ask you about your dreams and visions for the future, I bet 99% of the answers Ill receive will be self-centered answers. Selfish people are selfish dreamers. The potential in you is for the benefit of others and not to yourself. There comes a time in life when you have to make a choice. Are you going to climb the mountain of success for yourself, or are you going to climb it so that you can reach down, lift others up, and help them climb? Success can really cause people to be selfish. What are you doing to invest in others? The accomplishment of a significant dream comes only when we have something to offer. Make use of your natural talent and work hard to the benefit of others. Learn to die to self, and live for others. Let your life be a river and not a reservoir. Good morning
