Unless something outrageous happens this is my final political comment until after Thanksgiving. I listened to the President today and he showed where his expertise is and what he is comfortable with...being a community organizer. He made every excuse for why and basically said with training programs for law enforcement we could teach them how to better act. Well it is gonna take a lot more than just training the cops. Lets start with addressing personal accountability. Caring for your neighborhood will be another good starting place. Value your neighbors stuff. Have some goals beyond thugging, rapping and banging. Parents be parents to your children. You dont like crime in your hood...eliminate it instead of condoning it. Make it a neighborhood. Mutual respect between the police and the citizens isnt gonna happen by saying F#@k the police. And just remember how you present yourself is how people remember you. I will close by saying all this bothers me to a degree, but I am not gonna accept this guilty trip that is being pushed out there now. There was a famous black man that said,“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. So where is your character when one minute you beg for peace and the next minute you yell burn it down. Where is your character when you steal, rough up the store owner and physically confront a police officer ? Where is your character when you insight violence as a reverend for your public and personal gain ? Where is your character pushing unrest across the nation ? Where is your character when you blame the system yet you abuse the system ? Give me a chance to judge you by your actions, your character, not the color of your skin.
