Unlike the last project where I did a task and waited until completion, this time around I am doing more concurrently.. After picking Marcus up from the media blaster I hung the fenders, doors, hood and trunk just to check general alignment. I also wanted to see where I was as far as metal work. With that task completed I wanted to get the same assessment on the engine rebuild.. YEP you guessed it.. my work bench is nothing but engine right now. Partly because, 1.. I promised to build a 18V engine for a club member who’s current engine is gone.. 2. Marcus having a mix of parts I can’t decided 1800 engine or 1500, I have both available. I can’t decide, so I am building both, decision to come later. I am building a car to DRIVE.. a concurs ready trailer king is out of the question. I have a late model overdrive transmission to add to the drivability. So… If I am building this car for ME… Why not do it with what I want in it?????
