Unrelated to my post from yesterday. Heres a toile Ive been working on to make a salopette! What do you think? -Do you think more bows down the centre front? (There will be little bows on the leg cuffs too) maybe some detachable bows!? -Decorative buttons, yay or nay? -The fabric is going to be quite busy so maybe this amount of detail would be enough? -Should I move the pintucks in towards the centre more? Do you think theyre spaced nicely? -Also, the woman Im making it for wants it fitted at the waist and hips to show her butt so Ive just flared it out towards the knees to gather at the cuff, does this seem balanced enough? -If you were making this, would you line the shorts? The fabric is quite thick so I dont think it would show your pants while wearing it but a lined garment is a bit more luxurious isnt it? Im showing her it tomorrow but Id like some outside input because Ive been staring at it for too long! (Im not getting paid for this, its a twinning project for me and my gf 😊 )
