Unscientific poll: On Halloween, do you give candy to anyone at your door? I heard about people who dont give older teens candy, or kids without costumes, or other rules. Me, I give everyone candy if they say Trick r Treat. I make the teens say it too. And they do, happily. I love the older teens, the look that says Im too cool for this and the body language that says, Im trying hard to hold onto this little piece of childhood. Its so vulnerable and affected at the same time.
