Unsettled Weather Through Saturday; Calmer and Drier Next Week A disturbance dropping in from the northwest should bring some western rain and eastern breezes to the state on Christmas Eve. Although western showers could linger into Christmas morning, somewhat drier weather is expected through early Friday, before another storm potentially impacts Washington on Saturday. By Sunday, a cooler and drier northerly air flow should take hold over our area. As high pressure builds into the region, calmer conditions are likely to prevail next week.
