Until that meeting on Tuesday, Europe had trailed the United States in imposing economic sanctions to pressure Moscow into working to defuse the eight-month crisis in Ukraine in which hundreds of people have been killed. As an American citizen, not suffering as the rest of Europe did when Hitler tried to enslave their half of the world I can not figure out for the life of me why it took them so long. Perhaps as with us The day that will stand in infamy is only history to be taught to the young as an academic process. The truth of the holocaust is dimmed by our current crises. If they are serious and wish to stop tyrannical actions in their track theyll have to step up and do it. Until we get the current administration out of office they cant look to any leadership from here. Sorry Europe, though I side with you I dont think youll get much in the way of leadership out of this white house. Of course you already know that as you placed no trust in Obama leading sanctions until it actually hit home. Ill continue to pray that God supports your efforts and can only ask you to hold on until we can get this guy out of our hair.
