† Until the Peace Comes † Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words again. Matt 26:42 Jesus on the night He was betrayed was troubled in His spirit and He went to the garden to pray over it. He went back three times and kept praying, saying the same words again. He prayed until He had peace about what was coming. There is a time to pray in faith and stand on it, but we see that Jesus Himself went back and prayed the same words again when His was troubled and sorrowful. Today if you are facing something that will not leave you alone, and you are troubled and sorrowful, find a quite place alone and spend time praying and sitting in the Lords presence until the peace comes. Then you can face anything.
