Until you get the lesson, youll keep repeating it. Today, seek God for more understanding. So many times were doing things just out of sheer obedience to God, but our hearts arent in it. Were doing it just to follow the rules. But God isnt a rule. Hes not a ritual. If Hes telling you to do or not to do something, He not only wants you to do it, but He wants you to be peaceful about it. God doesnt need you stomping around, pouting, trying to do things just to appease Him. He wants your heart. He wants you to understand that He loves you and if Hes saying stop or go or dont move, its the best thing for you. Quit doing things just do them and to check them off your God list. Thats patronizing to God. Be obedient with a full heart. Be full of trust. Even if you dont understand the action, ask God to help you understand Him and His nature. When you do, youll understand that Hell never have you do anything that will cause you more harm. It may feel bad to your flesh, but its for your good.
