Untill you have sufficient for your needs, you will never serve sufficiently. - Rob Skinner Some people might take exception to this sentiment, citing Mother Theresa, and other similar magnificent examples of harnessing the power of the collective, which upon closer inspection, actually only prove the point. There have been many times throughout my life when I have desired to truly make a meaningful difference for someone but lacked the financial means, political clout, understanding of how to collaborate, or some other necessary resource to pull it off. My love and desire were the same as they are now, but today I am much better equipped to marshall the forces of positive change and allocate my resources to create abundance where there was lack. Having tried it both ways, I vastly prefer having a plan in motion to not only ensure our family has sufficient for our needs, but to simultaneously make a difference in the lives of those who were beyond our reach in leaner times for us. Persist. Do whatever it takes to obtain the vehicle, skills, and tools to bless lives left and right. It will be worth the effort exponentially.
