Unto all those who have waited for this day.. As Robins marshalling reign of terror comes to a close so too does mine as Baronial Herald (in fact I get the feeling that mine may actually be heading into Overdue with library fines attached). As some of you will remember I sent out a post a few months ago seeking a successor. I did get a response then and so stopped pestering the populous. However that good gentle has had to bow out due to other commitments and so I must cast my net once more into the teeming and (surely eager) crowd that is Mordenvale. This is a simple role with no arithmetic required. You can learn book heralding as you go (its what I did) and need only a loud voice, the willingness to come to events and stand up behind a chair or two and in front of a crowd, to accept that you will fumble words occassionally but to keep on shouting regardless and the ability to submit a simple report form four times a year. Being able to collar other heralds and get them to shout on your behalf occassionally is a additional perk. Please contact me to learn more about stepping into this simple but important position to support the Barony and allow me to step into another role for a few years.
