Untold Stories It was a Sunday evening and I did not feel like - TopicsExpress

Untold Stories It was a Sunday evening and I did not feel like doing anything. I did feel like doing something, but the fact was that I finally did not have any energy for it. I just did not feel like chasing it. I was comfortable. I think I had showered that day, no mean feat because it was a miracle to get me into the water at that time. One would say I was paranoid, but I would say, and it has ultimately proven out to be true, that there were things that I just did not know and if I did not know them then I could not allow myself to engage in analysis paralysis. In any case, I was out in the evening haze of the California sunset in a place called Van Nuys in the San Fernando Valley. I lived in an apartment complex that took up two city blocks and had over 200 different apartments in it. I lived on the first floor in a very advantageous place for the type of activity I was doing then. Across the street was the Townhouse Motel and the Bali Hai. At the corner were four gas stations and a Ralphs Market. Just before that corner, next to the Shell Station at Sherman Way and Sepulveda was a Dennys. I didnt have any money at the moment, but I seldom used money. So long as I knew where to get something that someone needed it was a service that had to be compensated. I knew where to get the most bomb ass cocaine in the world and I was one of the few that could be trusted to come back with the dope or your money. As a result, I had over three ounces a day in cocaine to my own damn self. And I got rich ! Then you woke up. No, I smoked every crumb that came to me. My excuse was that if I dont sell it directly they cant bust me. I had a pretty good thing going for all those years during school, but on this night, things would be different because, before the night was through, a man would be left bleeding out of his buttocks and not from a penis, but from a shotgun. It was 1982 and the San Fernando Valley was not in the habit of seeing Drive By Shootings. In that, I guess I was a pioneer. Who would have thought it? It didnt start out like that, and I did not have to pay for it, but there came a time when i had to pay for it and I realized that maybe I was paying for it all the time. amazon/s/ref=ntt_athr_dp_sr_1?ie=UTF8&field-author=Mr.+Wayne+Ricky-Elson+Rudder&search-alias=books&text=Mr.+Wayne+Ricky-Elson+Rudder&sort=relevancerank
